In the end of the book, The director resigns and john commits suicide. What a story huh? Some People in this book we're just rude.
John didn't have to kill himself but he was put in a situation where that seemed like the only option. If the sky's are blue dose that mean its not windy? Everything appeared to be ok with john on the surface but he was going through a lot and found a way out. The director found himself with one option, Retirement. The guy had it coming, no soul that guy..

So much drama in this book, not even a high school senior who has seen it all can stand this outrageous book. In this chapter Lenina tries to get in johns pants by taking hers off right next to him. This chapter escalates even more when John slaps the living poop out of Lenina and calls her a whore for her actions. If Linina doesn't get the idea that john doesn't want to have sex with her then shes going to get herself killed, John dose kill Linda... kind of. I'm warming up to the idea of Soma and "rituals."
These chapters where fun. They had great information in dealing with Johns popularity which had increased but now will decrease because of Johns ridiculous actions. This causes social distress in Bernards life now because he and his hommie John did everything together. Blogging is not something i do very much and find myself increasingly iritaded by this assignment but maybe thats just senior-itis. In theses chapters Bernard goes to try and get permission to take Linda and John to London. He gets permission and takes them to London where the DHC are awaiting them. Bernard is accused of being different and having a bad affect on people in the community. Bernard gets his words in before getting Linda and John. Eventually we find out that John has a son.
This book is absolutely ridiculous. Its weird and immoral. I cant stand reading this book, if not for school i would burn it or feed it to Poisonous frogs. All it talks about is sex and drugs. There's no foreshadowing or intrinsic details that as a reader i desire. Although, I'm not much of a reader. I'd much rather be outside enjoying REAL life instead of wasting my time reading some stupid, pathetic, pointless book.
I really dislike this book. Chapter 7 in the book, "Brave New World," is about life on the reservation. In this chapter we find out about a sacrifice, Just a kid who is wondering gets whipped as a sacrifice for religious reasons. Unlike the reservation we live on, The people in "Brave New World" cant leave the reservation and are bound to life there. sometimes i find myself to feel bound to something that i cant let go of or be let go from. I really appreciated this chapter because i could relate well to it.
In these chapters Bernard Takes place in activity's he isn't fond of at all. There is a drug called Soma that makes people happy, some would argue that its like the real worlds weed. The Soma is a drug that is taken by everyone except Bernard who is uncomfortable and doesn't like taking. Every month or so a ceremony takes place where soma is passed aroung, dancing and chanting, and then a sex orgy.
In chapter 3 and 4 strange things happen, such as little kids that are encouraged to do erotic things and are not allowed to wear clothes. Kids that aren't even developed are forced to have sex or other forms of erotic play and the typical kid wouldn't know much about any of this. This book is messed up.
This is short because it was deleted randomly so I had to redo it all. In the fabulous novel, "A Brave New World," people are born without parents and can be manipulated into whatever the direct of hatchery's desire. 72-96 people can be born from one egg and about 17000 people can be born from one ovary. In this novel the babies are taught many different things for instance, they teach them not to like flowers and books. They also teach them while there sleeping but as a kid named Ruben found out that its not techniquly learning but instead repeating.
